Chewy.com Review - Home Goods! #ChewyInfluencer

Did you all know that Chewy.com now carries a pawsome assortment of HOME GOODS?  Check it out because there is lots of howliday giving stuff there and with their speedy fast shipping, there is still time to order those last minute gifts.

Chewy.com asked if I would like to review one of their new home goods items that they would send to me free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.  Seriously friends, it was sooooo hard to choose.  So being the practical dog that I am ....

Try to find a leash in this messy bin when it is time for our walkies.
Seriously, we get all cracker crazy waiting while the mom digs through this tangled mass of collars and leashes.
We had this blank wall behind the escape hatch front door just begging for organization oppawtunities.
So we decided on this nifty SportHooks "Woof" Dog Leash & Key Holder.
Here is the description:
Keep things tidy without compromising your wagtastic style with the SportHooks "Woof" Dog Leash & Key Holder. Made out of high-quality powder coated steel, it’s the perfect home d├ęcor piece to keep your keys, leash, harnesses, and all your gear neatly in one place. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use, it’s beautifully made with an intricate doggy bone and paw print design and versatile hooks that are broad enough to even hang towels or hats. Easy to install, it comes ready for mounting with the included screws. Plus, it’s made in the USA and comes in two sizes so you can choose the one that suits your home.

There are also other lots of other designs to choose from!

One problem - it comes with two woods screws and to hang it inside you have to have anchors so mom went digging in the basement and found some that worked.
After using the leash holder as a template to mark and make holes in the walls (and don't you know I would be in sooooo much trouble if I marked and made holes in the walls, just sayin') and hammering in the anchors ...
Ta da!  Oh wait ...
There that's better, leashes, poop bags, everything we need all neat and handy for when it is walkies time so we can just saddle up and fly out of that escape hatch front door.
And look how much visitors like it.  They are all like "WOW!"
So there you have it, this leash holder will work great for us.  It would have been better had it come with anchors and drywall screws instead of just wood screws.  So go finish your howliday people shopping now over at Chewy.com.

Chewy Review - Greenies Pumpkin Spice Dental Treats #chewyinfluencer

I think I am a little late with this review - this product is seasonal and well, the pumpkin season is about over.  But I wanted to do a thorough cross-country review and it took some time.  Chewy.com sent me these free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.

Give your dog the mouth-wowing treat that boosts dental health with the Greenies Pumpkin Spice Flavor Dental Dog Treats. Vet recommended for doggy dental care, these treats have a unique texture that fights plaque and tartar to keep teeth clean and maintain healthy gums, which means more smoochable moments with your fresh-breath pooch. Easy to digest and made with natural ingredients including delicious real pumpkin and pumpkin spice flavor, your pooch will love them as an everyday treat. Plus, they’re accepted by the Veterinary Oral Health Council and proudly made in Kansas City since 1996.
For my road trip mom packed an assortment of chewables for me because, you see, I have a chewing problem.  (My hiking harness, a plugged in heating pad, mom's bras....)  In our motel room mom let me decide what I wanted to gnaw on and what do you think I chose?
Oh yummers, a Greenies Pumpkin Spice.
It was so delish and provided for nice relaxation in the motel room. I finished it off.
I got more at grandma's house, on the off chance I had a hankering to gnaw on any of grandma's things.  OK, the plants maybe but the Greenies are WAY better.  Trust me on this.
I'll take this over grandma's Wandering Jew any day.
Then there was more for when I came back home.
Nothing like a Greenie in the comfort of my own bed.
Complete with drool.  4 paws up for Greenies Pumpkin Spice!

My First Road Trip

I went on my first cross country adventure to grandma's house.
I hiked where the stars are.  Six hikes in 5 states for a total of 36.3 miles!  Oh, the sniffs I sniffed.
I'll give you all a snapshot of each of the hikes.
We drove in the car about 5 hours and it rained and rained and rained until we got to the hike and the sun came out!
After spending the night in a motel we drove in the car and stopped here for a hike before going on to grandma's house in St. Louis.
Now THIS is a vacay at grandma's house.  I was chillin' in the sunbeams.
More hiking with mom.
And then a hike with grandma!
Heading back home a hike before staying in the same motel again.
The next day one more hike, then all the way back home.

Upcoming Road Trip Chewy.com Review #chewyinfuencer

I will be going on my first big road trip soon to meet my new grandma in St. Louis.  Of course we will be hiking on the way there, while we are there and on the way back home.  That means we will be staying in a dog-friendly motel, too.  Of course mom does not want to deal with open cans of dog food while we are on the road so when Chewy.com was offering a fangtastic option free of charge for our honest opinion, we were all over that.  I insisted we do the review BEFORE we leave because what if we got on the road and I hated it?  That, my friends, would be very, very bad.
So here we have it, Blue Wilderness TRAIL Trays - yes, appropriate for on the trail, BOL!  And it comes in a 12-count WOLF pack.  Does this have "Brodie" written all over it, or what?  See, I am even putting the bitey on the box, I am so excited I cannot wait.
There are 12 individual servings with all kinds of goodness in them.
We can smell this goodness right through the container so please, let's get on with this!
Oh. My. Dog.
Hurry, please!
Down the hatch!
Seriously, must I share with Al?
The mom gets all bossy and I have to let Al have some.
Yay, more for ME!
Oops, that chunk went airborne.  Not to worry, I snatched it before it hit the deck.
That Al, so slow.
Speed it up bud, or it's MINE!
Do you have any idea how much self restraint this takes?
I mean seriously friends, just listen to how bossy the mom gets.  This is so wrong.
I did get to lick the bowl.  Al did not, BOL.
OK, so I might have gotten a little carried away but can you blame a dog?  So the verdict is, pack 'em up for the trip and just hope I don't find them and finish them off before we leave!

Fall Foliage in the Catskills

So I have heard that the mom likes to go to the Catskills in New York every year for leaf peeping hiking.  We went weekend before last but the foliage was not quite to mom's liking.  This is what it looked like.
Show me a boulder and I am on it.
I grab a power nap at every opportunity.

See, not a whole lot of colorfulness yet so the mom dragged me back last weekend.  OK, I went willingly.  VERY willingly.  I like me some hiking!  Look how much more leaf peeping there was to be had just one week later.

King of the World!

This hiking life becomes me.
